The Elders were picked up on Saturday. Elder Keeng's mission was complete last November, so he went home to Botswania. Elder Omale, from Nigeria, was sent to Seirra Leone. Apparently he has requested to extend his mission by 10 months so that he could serve 24 months as an active missionary. Whether that is extended or not, the faith of these two young men is inspirational.

Hi Moms
In my sons email Monday, he said he was able to speak to Elder Omale before he
left for Sierra Leone. My son was Elder Omale's MTC Companion, and they became
best friends, so Sister Smith let Elder Omale call Elder Taylor before leaving.
Elder Taylor said he was in good spirits, but he had a message to leave
everyone. He said "Tell everyone to be obediant to the commandments of God, and
listen to the spirit. Those two things will save us all." He said Elder Keeng
went home, honorably. He also wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and
fasting done in their behalf.. I just wanted to pass the message on to everyone!
You all are wonderful sisters, this website has helped me so much. I was in
Shopko when i recieved the email about the Elders release, and i broke down in
tears, and went out to my car and prayed in thanks to my Heavenly Father.

Doctrine and Covenants 130:18-21
18 Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection.
19 An if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.
20 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated-
21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.
