Doctrine and Covenants 130:18-21

Doctrine and Covenants 130:18-21
18 Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection.
19 An if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.
20 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated-
21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

Grandpa Berry officiated in the session we were in.

Brady saying good-bye to Grandma Parrish, She had been in WY with Aunt Jill waiting for the baby to come, she left to come home to the baptism and to hear Brady talk and as soon as they left WY, Jill had her baby. So early Monday morning Grandma flew back to WY to be with Jill and her kids.

As we finished up all the last minute shopping, we were able to go to lunch with Kofee, (who is from Ghana),  Tyler and Camille, and Grandpa.  Kofee played soccer last year at Lone Peak, he told Brady he will love the food there, he misses the food so much.

On Tuesday before Brady left, He and I(Sherri) headed to Manti to do a session. After we were done, His friend Ryan(Ryno) came and they went and did Baptisms for the Dead. If was a very neat experience for me to watch as Brady baptized Ryno.

Elder Berry arrived at the Salt Lake Airport at 6:15 am on September 23, 2010. His flight Delta 94 left at 8:40 am for JFK airport in New York City at arriving 3:30 our time and 5:30 in NY. They didn't have much time to change planes, Delta flight 166 left for Accra, Ghana at 4:20 with the plane arriving at 7:30 am Ghana time. Elder Berry checked in the the MTC in Ghana at 12:30. At 8:15 just after everyone had left for school the pone rang, it was Elder Berry saying he was there and safe, it was 2:15 pm there, he said, they would not be emailing for 3 weeks while in the MTC. They can use the pouch mailing system. He sounded so great, He left the SLC airport with Elder Taylor Cosper of Alpine, and picked up another Elder at JFK airport. One other Elder had joinded them from Accra. The plane that took them from JFK to Ghana would of seated about 200 people and there were only 50 people on the plane, so they had room to stretch out and sleep.
